Role Purpose
Co-ordinates with Manager for planning, organizing, directing, and managing all automation related activities and functions. Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, programming and overseeing the installation of automated systems within the facility.

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical engineering

Co-ordinates with Manager for planning, organizing, directing, and managing all automation related activities and functions. Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, programming and overseeing the installation of automated systems within the facility.
Job Accountabilities & Activities
- Automation engineers will be responsible for creating and applying technology to monitor and control the production or delivery of products and services of the automation equipment in the company.
- Able to work with different models of robots such as ABB, Yasakawa and Kawasaki etc.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all automation related queries from the Licensee and Production/Operation Team.
- Conduct End -2 End cycle of first article qualifications for operations and licensee qualification.
- Able to work in setting the parameters for various size and shape products as requested by the operations team.
- Designing programs, simulating, and testing automated machinery, processing orders, completing tasks within the deadline.
- Identifying bugs and quality issues in development, business process, or service.
- Developing and implementing improved automation process methodologies.
- Trouble shoots on the Automation process to achieve quality and improve productivity.
- Able to work with different OEM during installation and Maintenance.
- Collaborating with other departments and understanding ways to improve the automation process and improve cycle time of parts produced.
- Monitor and eliminate machine down times.
- Performs routine maintenance on Automation equipment.
- Finding ways to eliminate defects and errors with software development/ enhancements.
- Identifying technical challenges and quality issues and developing the improvement and development process.
- Maintaining replacement parts list and are stocked to ensure 24/7 production requirements.
- Achieve 95% production efficiency with continuous process development.
- Work to KPI of Zero Defect and quality rejections.
- Program and configure new parts combinations and automation in respective to customer designs.
- Assist in the training of all machine operators to improve the process and quality performance.
- Attend the production meetings and able to present with production plan, activities, and highlight any technical or quality concerns.
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical engineering
