The Role

• Lead the development and implementation of reinsurance strategies for clients in the energy sector, including oil, gas, and renewable energy industries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, reinsurers, and internal teams to ensure effective program design and execution.
• Analyse and assess energy sector risks, providing tailored solutions and advice on optimal reinsurance structures and coverage.
• Oversee the placement of energy reinsurance programs, ensuring competitive pricing, terms, and coverage adequacy.
• Stay informed on global energy market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to advise clients proactively.
  
  

Qualifications

The Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• At least 5-7 years of experience in reinsurance, with a focus on the energy sector
• Strong knowledge of energy risks, reinsurance structures, and market dynamics.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships, negotiate with reinsurers, and drive business growth.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ARM, CPCU, CII) or willingness to pursue them
