Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Engineer – ELV to join our team! The Engineer – ELV is responsible for Electrical works related to ELV works, for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual. In this role you will get to work on one of the unique hospitality projects in the kingdom.

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitoring the Electrical works related to ELV works, for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.
• Reviewing, approving and processing all ELV technical submittals.
• Prepare preliminary answers RFI’s related to ELV works.
• Coordinating and supervising the pre-installation work of selected ELV activities and operations.
• Reviewing contractor’s ELV change order proposals and preparing recommendations to the Senior Electrical Engineer.
• Liaison with the necessary sub consultants.
• Assist with the review off contractor’s claims related to ELV works and preparing recommendations for claims.
• Assist with the review off contractor’s project record documents relevant to their discipline.
• Assist with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of the ELV works.
• Prepare “sign-off” package for completed Electrical works with completed documentation for sign-off by Senior Electrical Engineer.
• Perform all other duties given by PM.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or ELV.
• Minimum Ten (10) years' experience as Electrical / ELV Engineer with (3 -5) years in Construction Administration in the Middle East.
• Strong technical background on ELV work.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good knowledge of ELV work, products and materials.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge/experience in AUTO CAD.
• Good command of Microsoft Office business solution (Excel, Word).
• Ability to review and comment properly on necessary documentation.
• Excellent understanding of specifications
• Good understanding of Authority requirements.
• Complete project understanding in given discipline, from start to hand-over.
