Electronics and Communication Inspector

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and verify installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of all electronic and communication systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of communication networks, low-current systems, and electronic equipment.
• Monitor system performance, identify deviations or malfunctions, and initiate corrective measures in coordination with engineering and maintenance teams.
• Review technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals to ensure proper system setup.
• Ensure proper grounding, wiring, and connectivity of electronic and communication equipment.
• Participate in system commissioning, functional testing, and validation before operational handover.
• Verify that contractors’ and vendors’ work meets technical, quality, and safety requirements.
• Document all inspections, tests, non-conformities, and corrective actions in detailed reports for PMO records.
• Coordinate with the project management team to plan and schedule inspections, maintenance, and testing activities.
• Ensure adherence to HSE policies during all inspection, testing, and maintenance activities.
• Support troubleshooting and fault diagnosis, recommending technical solutions to resolve system issues.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for technical guidance, spare parts, and system upgrades.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing technical specifications, inspection checklists, and quality control documentation.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and equipment condition to ensure uninterrupted system operation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior inspection staff or site teams.
• Attend progress meetings and report on the status of electronic and communication systems.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and client requirements.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance and reliability

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electronics and communication inspection, preferably in operation and maintenance projects.
• Strong knowledge of low-current systems, communication networks, and electronic equipment testing procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with PMO project documentation and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or facility maintenance projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Knowledge of project management practices and PMO reporting requirements.
