Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Officer

The (EFB) Officer is responsible for supporting Flight Operations relevant to use Electronic Flight Bag. (EFB)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in enabling overall EFB operations, including but not limited to EFB hardware, software, content, IT stability.
• Assist with hardware and software configuration management.
• Carry out testing to ensure only a valid version of the application software and current data packages are installed on the EFB system.
• Assist in regular audits and random quality checks.
• Provide support for the effective and efficient ongoing logistic support on all e-enabled aircraft within Flyadeal, meeting company EFB requirements.
• Support new aircraft EFB and coms related components, future proofing the EFB operations.
• Participate in discussions with Airline Purchasing Department for e-enabled products and services provided to the Company and maintain all vital records relating to EFB administration.
• Provide First line IT support for pilots and escalate as required to EFB Administrator / IT Department.
• Represent the Company at meetings as required by EFB Administrator and keep informed of developments within the industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field or equivalent diploma.
• Minimum 1 year experience in airline operations with networked computers. Some experience of Apple iOS is preferred.
