Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electrical Supervisor to join our team! In this role you will get to monitor the construction activities related to electrical works of the project

What You'll Be Doing

• Conducts inspections to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract specifications.
• Installation of electrical equipment related to traffic signals, ramp metering, and street lighting
• Inspects electrical installations to ensure proper grounding, circuit integrity, and adherence to statutory and customer regulations.
• Provides general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.
• Participates in the development of job safety practices and in the preparation of safety reports.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
• Captures project photographs on a daily basis; file/organize
• Maintains office files related to the project, quantity calculations, and writes daily diaries
• Prepares daily reports and other documentation, as required by the contract.
• Verifies only approved materials are incorporated in the work.
• Performs labor compliance interviews and maintains as-built plans.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Minimum 8 years of construction work experience related to Electrical inspection.
• Good written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project team.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to area of assignment.
