Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector, preferably a Saudi National, to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience, specifically in interface management roles within the consultancy sector, with a strong background in site supervision for projects such as roads, tunnels, bridges, and highways.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of electrical installations, equipment, and systems to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify the implementation of electrical designs, drawings, and specifications in accordance with approved plans and applicable codes.
  • Monitor electrical construction activities, including cable laying, wiring, installation of fixtures, and testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Identify and report any non-conformities, defects, or discrepancies observed during inspections and coordinate with project stakeholders to address corrective actions.
  • Review contractor submittals, including electrical shop drawings, method statements, and material samples, for compliance with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers, designers, and consultants to resolve technical issues, clarify specifications, and ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project records, documentation, and progress reports related to electrical works.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior inspectors and site personnel as needed.
  • Promote adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry best practices in electrical construction activities.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and site visits to support project coordination and interface management activities.


Qualifications

  • Saudi Nationality is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical inspection roles within the consultancy sector, with a focus on site supervision for infrastructure projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles, installations, and testing procedures.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes, standards, and regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and multicultural team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Professional certifications or licenses related to electrical inspection or engineering are advantageous.
