Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team, with a primary focus on substation construction, execution, and supervision . This role involves direct involvement in site activities, installation, commissioning, and coordination of electrical works in high/medium voltage substation projects.

• Supervise and manage all on-site activities related to substation construction.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and utility teams to streamline work execution.
• Monitor installation of transformers, switchgear, cable laying, protection systems, earthing, and auxiliary systems.
• Conduct site inspections, testing, and pre-commissioning of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and consultants to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain daily progress reports and ensure timely execution of project milestones.
• Support project managers and participate in progress meetings and technical reviews.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems or similar preferred).
• 7 to 12 years of proven experience in substation construction projects (not design).
• Hands-on experience with MV/HV/EHV systems, site installation, and commissioning.
• Strong technical understanding of transformers, GIS, switchgear, and SCADA systems.
• Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and installation drawings.
• Proficiency in site management tools and MS Office suite.

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under site conditions.
• Familiarity with QA/QC and HSE procedures.
• Excellent coordination and teamworking abilities in multicultural environments.
• Ability to handle pressure and meet project deadlines.
