Electrical Engineer

lifecycle. HCO works on a wide range of project types, including residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail, and healthcare.

We are looking for an experienced Site Electrical Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in electrical systems, solid site engineering experience, and a comprehensive understanding of construction standards, safety regulations, and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team to ensure efficient use of electrical systems and compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to identify electrical issues or concerns and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Collaborate with electrical contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and completion of electrical installations.
• Review shop drawings for electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Identify deviations or discrepancies from designs and recommend necessary revisions or modifications.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to resolve design conflicts or technical issues.
• Review electrical specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy and highlight any gaps or inconsistencies.
• Evaluate and approve electrical materials, including cables, conduits, equipment, and lighting fixtures, to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct quality control checks on materials and coordinate with procurement teams for timely delivery.
• Review project execution plans for electrical site activities, including timelines, milestones, and responsibilities, and provide feedback on corrective actions.
• Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and ensure compliance with safety codes and project specifications.
• Verify proper installations, connections, and testing of electrical systems.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Valid membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in site engineering or construction management, with at least 5 years in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, construction practices, codes, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in construction management software, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
