WSP is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Reviewer to join our team for a prestigious airport project in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in electrical design and supervision, with a strong background in reviewing electrical systems for large-scale infrastructure projects.

Your new role, what's involved?

• Review and validate electrical design drawings, specifications, and calculations to ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and local regulations.
• Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for design improvements.
• Ensure coordination between electrical and other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, and structural) to avoid conflicts and ensure seamless integration.
• Assist in resolving design issues and discrepancies through technical discussions with consultants and contractors.
• Provide technical support during construction by reviewing site conditions and ensuring alignment with the approved designs.
• Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure compliance with safety, performance, and sustainability standards.
• Work closely with the project team to ensure timely approval of design documents and smooth project execution.
• Participate in client and stakeholder meetings, providing expert insights on electrical design aspects.
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design and supervision, preferably in airport or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of international and local electrical codes and standards (IEC, NEC, Saudi Building Code, etc.).
• Experience in power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems design.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, and other electrical design tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience working with consultants and contractors on airport or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
