The EHS Officer collaborates with manufacturing teams, contractors, and management to improve safety and environmental performance at the Siemens Energy Dammam Hub. Reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Director, this role involves developing and performing initiatives sought at reducing employee risk and aligning with the organization’s long-term goals.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Director, this role involves developing and performing initiatives sought at reducing employee risk and aligning with the organization’s long-term goals.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, including NCOSH, Saudi Labor Laws, OSHA, and conduct job hazard reviews and incident investigations.
- Facilitate daily site walkthroughs, document feedback, and assist in coordinating orientation and safety training programs on-site.
- Maintain comprehensive safety records, including training documentation and EHS-related key performance indicators (KPIs), while collaborating with external vendors to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Oversee the Zero Harm program by conducting annual facility audits, developing action plans, and participating in continuous improvement activities.
- Work with factory supervisors in safety meetings, manage Factory Zero Harm Program, using Occupational Health expertise.
- Saudi graduates with Safety Science degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years EHS experience in heavy electromechanical factory. Must understand EHS concepts.
- NEBOSH certification is preferred, along with a solid understanding of coordinated management systems such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001.
- Proven experience in mentoring teams on environmental and safety-related projects is essential, along with strong knowledge of NCOSH and OSHA workplace regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting job hazard analyses and serving as a subject matter expert in all aspects of the EH&S function, including training and reporting.
- A proactive, positive, and collaborative attitude is required, along with strong time management and interpersonal skills; Siemens Energy employees may also be eligible for internal transfers.
