The Early Career Traineeship is designed for fresh graduates where Baker Hughes will train fresh talent who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a specific business. The traineeship duration is 12 months in Dammam IET Plant and will develop your technical knowledge and soft skills and provide on the job learning and exposure.

As part of our Early Career Traineeship, you will be involved in:

Participates in formal leadership training program that serve as a talent pipeline. Material Planning ECT will work in close cooperation in both direction of the value chain with different functions. He / She will support in building a production plan, setting up resources targets and requirements, monitoring progress and ensuring alignment. Candidate will have exposure to ERP system and assist requesters with process compliance and system understanding. This will require in-depth investigation to analyse data and identify issues with root causes to derive corrections.

• Building Material Requirements Plan utilizing the different planning software and techniques.
• Coordinating with other functions regarding production targets, progress, delivery, materials flow.
• Ensuring adequate supply of materials to meet production demands.
• Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.
• Contributing to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
• Managing inventory shortages, schedule changes, and design changes.
• Ability to analyze processes, detect risks, and ensuring adequate actions are in place to mitigate proactively.
• Managing ERP transactions for materials, work orders, and sales orders.
• Learning and adhering to workplace safety and compliance regulations.
• Enforcing quality mindset and ensuring all quality requirements are met to start production.

To be successful in this traineeship you will:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electrical or Electronics engineering, Graduated from your bachelors’ degree within the last 24 months.
• Have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
• Be fluent in written and spoken English and have effective communication skills.
• Be inquisitive and present a thirst for knowledge.
• Be legally entitled to work within the country in which you are applying, without sponsorship or time restrictions.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
• Basic understanding of ERP system - preferably within work orders and inventory.
• Competent in the different production planning styles
• MS Project basic knowledge.
• Proficiency at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
• Operation excellence and process improvement mindset.
• Exceptional team player and easily adaptable.
• Strong investigation and analysis skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 360 suite including Teams.
• Basic knowledge in logistics and incoterms.
