We are recruiting a Driver to effectively provide a delivery and collection service for the firm and driving the Firms staff as required.
This role will be based form our Riyadh office, and our standard working hours are 8.30am-5.30pm Sunday to Thursday, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.
Main duties and responsibilities
Driver duties but not limited to
- Ensure daily vehicle checks are carried out as per the Vehicle check sheet
- Safe transportation of Firm staff to designated addresses ensuring safety procedures are adhered to
- Ensure that the car is kept in a clean state inside and outside
- Logs all trips in the log sheet
- Work within the business operational procedures and legislative requirements
- Safe transportation of Firm staff to designated addresses ensuring safety procedures are adhered to
- Ensure that rules and regulations are followed in case of involvement in accident
- Ad-Hoc tasks as and when required.
- Admin Duties – assisting with office admin such as copying, printing, and filing as well as stationery requests as and when required
Court duties:
- Services – Services of notices (to oppose or defend) – delivering to client and thereafter to the court for filing purposes
- Filing of documents at the High Court
- Deliveries and Collections of apostille documents for authentication
- Delivery and collection of documents to relevant place after authentication process (DIRCO)
- Delivery and collection of documentation (travel documents) to the relevant embassy
- Delivering and collecting of files or documents from Chambers.
- Follow ups on court orders at the High Court or Magistrate Court and obtaining court dates
- Delivery of documents / summons to the Sheriff’s office and collection of return of service
Deeds Office Duties:
- Lodging of documents at the Deeds Office
- Collection and delivery of Property documents
- Dealing with City Council relating to rates queries on behalf of the client
General Duties:
- Delivery and Collection of documents to the Law Society as and when required
- Delivery and collection of internal compliance documents
- Collection and delivery of parcels and mail to the local post office
Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
- A valid driving licence for Saudi Arabia for this type of work
- Good level of English both written and spoken
- Experienced as a driver in a customer service/partnering environment; highly customer focused.
- Experience of vehicle management, including daily vehicle safety checks and ensuring the vehicle remains clean and tidy inside and out
- Experienced in delivery and collection driving, especially regarding confidential documentation
- Proven ability to use computer-based systems to aid with duties such as lodging of documents at the Deeds office or filing documents with the courts.
- Experience in general admin duties – such as copying, printing, and filing as well as stationery requests as and when required
