Job Name :Drilling Product Sales Engineer Job Summary :The Drilling Product Sales Engineer is responsible for growing market share and revenue with assigned accounts. The Drilling Product Sales Engineer is also responsible for establishing and building relationships with assigned customers. This person promotes the sale of BL products and services to assigned accounts, utilizing field background expertise to match customer need with applicable solution. The Drilling Product Sales Engineer optimizes sales opportunities through in-depth knowledge of client activities and plans and communicates customer activity and sales opportunities through effective use of sales business systems/processes. The Drilling Sales Engineer will acquire business line technical knowledge in at the start of the fix step program and will apply the acquired technical skills within the sales organization and tasks. Additional Responsibilities : * Establish relationships with customers by making visits to field sites to follow up on jobs that were sold and consulting with customer and other stakeholders.
- Act as customer interface with operations.
- Capture customer Business Line and all local and international competitor activity in GAC.
- Maintain opportunity pipeline in C4C for assigned accounts.
- Maintain C4C for accounts, including customer profiling, visit reports, and customer drivers.
- Coordinate scheduling with the service delivery organization as required.
- Provide basic product/service recommendations and presents to the client.
- Assist in troubleshooting product/service performance in the field and resolving complaints.
- Ensure that customer problems arising from sales are responded to and appropriately managed.
- Understand sales programs, new product introduction, etc., within assigned sales territory.
- Attend training courses to maintain knowledge of key technologies as well as competitor practices.
- Maintain awareness of market and competitive intelligence and communicate to management.
- Identify and communicate potential multi-BL and multi-Division opportunities.
- Explore opportunities for value-added products and services.
- Support multiple Business Line(s) operations in a collaborative optimized.
- Understand and communicate value of technology.
- Relevant university degree
