General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist Architectural and Multi-disciplined Engineers in developing designs, using AutoCAD and relevant necessary Engineering Software's for various Projects design drawings of all trades (Architectural, Structural, Road Work & Electro-Mechanical) as applicable and incorporates all amendments to preliminary design, all approved Specifications, Standards, Codes of Practice, etc. for all In-House Projects according to the directives from Engineering Department Manager and Multidiscipline Engineers.
- Prepares and update online satellite maps locating Service Stations and other facilities and developing digital satellite maps and images according to directives received from Engineering & Projects Division Manager and Senior Managements, using Google Earth software with knowledge and GIS (Geographic Information System).
- Prepares all creative work such as necessary design sketches etc. according to the directives from Engineering Department Manager and Architectural Engineers using AutoCAD, Photoshop, and other Computer-aided design techniques and software's for approval of Senior Management and/or Authorities,
- Updates digital records of detailed final design drawings based on the As-Built drawings submitted by the Contractors, Checks and fi les all digital As-Built Drawings of various Projects.
- Act as a replacement to the Engineer-in-charge, as directed, for reviewing, taking action, and issuing all Notices of Intents received from the Government Departments and private Consultants/Contractors.
- Uploads and submits the digital and hard copy of the designs of In-house Projects to local authorities for their approval and assist Architectural Engineers in incorporating all necessary changes after reviewing designs and drawings with the Architectural and concerned Engineers.
- Establishes, maintains, and updates Projects archiving database, and Service Stations Charts and locations maps, maintains all drawings, files and Engineering Graphic documentations both manually and electronically.
- Performs other related duties as and when assigned by Engineering Department Manager, such as assisting occasionally Architectural and Civil Engineers in site surveys and site measurements and preparation of the preliminary design of Projects.
- Performs duties according to technical procedure and know-how and Professional Standards.
- Completed work is subject to check, review, and direction.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 12 years' experience and eight years in a similar position with good knowledge of Architectural/ Structural or Electro-Mechanical Engineering design drawings and details, graphic design, using AutoCAD, Photoshop and other Engineering Design Software's and Photoshop Presentation, and preparing of working drawing for all Engineering disciplines (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation) and working knowledge of Google Earth and GIS (Geographic Information System) & other applicable computer software's.
- Knowledge of MicroStation, Autodesk Revit and Rendering.
- Good knowledge of oral and written English.
