Leads the Ophthalmology & MS disease areas across public and private sectors to deliver faster patient value. Orchestrates a cross-functional squad and a team of Disease Area Partners (DAPs) to shape ecosystems, expand access, and grow portfolio impact.

The Position
The Opportunity
Leads the Ophthalmology & MS disease areas across public and private sectors to deliver faster patient value. Orchestrates a cross-functional squad and a team of Disease Area Partners (DAPs) to shape ecosystems, expand access, and grow portfolio impact.
Your Responsibilities
- Define portfolio positioning, indications focus, and launch sequence
- Coordinate and execute ophthalmology strategies and programs that build credibility and leverage Roche’s reputation
- Enhance HCP collaboration and advocacy for priority brands
- Mobilize ecosystem stakeholders and maintain transparent relationships
- Build market know-how and strategies to add new customers in the assigned area
- Plan and conduct frequent visits; prepare, negotiate, and close proposals; respond to RFQs
- Communicate technical and value solutions to unlock business opportunities
- Set annual objectives, budgets, and success metrics
- Map patient journeys and system frictions; prioritize interventions
- Lead value narratives for clinicians, payers, and relevant stakeholders
- Drive guideline inclusion, formulary wins, and pathway optimization
- Optimize list price, net price, and tender strategy across channels
- Consolidate insights from field, data, and analytics to steer decisions
- Manage risk signals and mitigation across safety, supply, and reputation
- Resolve trade-offs on resources, priorities, and timelines
- Patient impact: treated patients, time-to-diagnosis, time-to-treatment
- Growth: net revenue, market-share/ indication uptake, forecast accuracy
- MSc/PharmD/MD; MBA is preferred
- 8-12+ years in pharma/biotech with cross-functional roles (Medical, Marketing, Access, or Strategy)
- Launch and access experience required
- Strong stakeholder management with KOLs, payers, and authorities
- Data literacy: forecasting, dashboarding, and outcomes analytics
- Fluent in English and Arabic language (spoken & written)
