Director - Risk Management (COR 527)

Qiddiya Investment Company is on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Director of Risk Management to spearhead our risk management initiatives across the organization. This key leadership role is essential to ensure that all potential risks associated with our diverse portfolio of projects are systematically identified, analyzed, and mitigated. You will work collaboratively with various departments to create a culture of risk awareness, guiding the organization towards achieving its strategic objectives while safeguarding its assets and reputation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Risk Management department strategy to support the achievement of QIC's strategic objectives
• Lead the development and oversee the implementation of Risk Management department policies, processes, procedures and controls
• Develop Risk Management department budget in alignment with the organization budgetary requirements to allow effective delivery of desired objectives in collaboration with the Finance division
• Lead the integration of risk into key decision making and internal processes e.g. committees, investments, projects, strategy, business planning and performance management
• Guide the development of risk processes, models, templates, decision making frameworks etc. in order to embed Risk Management into Qiddiya operations
• Act as the custodian of the Risk Management and facilitate its programs across Qiddiya
• Promote effective Risk Management at all levels and encourage an appropriate Risk culture across Qiddiya
• Establish and initiate periodic revisions to the Risk Management system documentation
• Reporting, escalation and communication of risks and issues to key stakeholders and/or committees
• Ensure that departmental risk registers take into consideration the core business and strategic direction of the Board
• Oversee the Risk Management cycle by carrying out risk identification, risk evaluation, risk mitigation, risk monitoring & reporting across the different functions at Qiddiya
• Provide guidance and consultative advice to the business to enable risk-informed decision making
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field
• Master's Degree in Risk Management or related field preferred
• Minimum of 10-15 years of professional experience in risk management, including significant experience in real estate development, construction, or large-scale projects
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, tools, and best practices
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective risk management strategies
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar credentials are preferred
