In this strategic role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement function, driving efficiencies in sourcing and supplier management while ensuring alignment with our ambitious project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute robust procurement strategies that cater to the diverse needs of Qiddiya's projects
  • Lead the procurement team, managing all phases of procurement from sourcing and negotiation to contract management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to foster collaboration and improve service delivery
  • Review and analyze procurement requirements, conducting market research to identify opportunities for cost reductions and improved quality
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, processes, and regulations, including risk management protocols
  • Provide insights and expert recommendations to senior leadership on procurement performance and strategic decisions
  • Utilize procurement technology and systems to optimize operations and provide actionable data analysis
  • Mentor and develop procurement staff, cultivating a proactive and goal-oriented team environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field; a Master's degree is highly preferred
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in procurement with a focus on large-scale projects in the construction or entertainment industries
  • Proven expertise in supplier negotiation, contract management, and strategic sourcing
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of driving team success
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities supported by data-driven insights
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools that enhance workflow efficiency
  • Knowledge of current market trends and procurement best practices
