About the location:

Steps from the Prophet’s Mosque, our Hotel will offer luxury accommodation for the city’s 1.5 million annual visitors. The new-build hotel will be located at the heart of Madinah and steps from one of the most historic and significant sites in the region: Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet’s Mosque. Madinah is also home to the Quba Mosque, which is regarded as the oldest mosque in the world.

The Role Of Director Of Sales

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Director of Sales to join our Four Seasons Hotel Madinah opening team!

Reporting into the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the hotel sales strategies and assisting the Director of Marketing in achieving business growth and profitability objectives.

Responsibilities will include assisting in the development of the annual marketing plan and budget, reviewing market analysis and determining client needs, fostering good communication and working productively with all Worldwide Sales Offices, enhancing the hotel’s community image, talent management and development of the sales team, ensuring sales goals and incentive programs are fully understood and implemented, coordinating special sales activities, promotions, trips and trade shows, and managing key accounts and developing new relationships; ensuring we maximize sales, grow business share and maintain the highest level of professionalism through the industry.

Our Ideal Director Of Sales Candidate Will Have

As the brand ambassador, you will be well connected and have a strong presence within the hospitality, travel, and luxury arena. You will ideally have pre-opening experience, and you should be strategic, have a proactive approach, a strong drive for results, creativity in developing sales and marketing solutions and a proven track record of success as evidenced by your results.

It is important to us that you bring a strong sense of quality, an eye for detail, a collaborative nature, a passion for talent management and development, and that you have exceptional presentation, communication and writing skills.

Along with being strategic, analytical, and having solid business acumen, you will naturally also be a charismatic, nurturing, and inspiring leader with a strong passion for people welfare and development. You will be the Cultural Advocate of the Golden Rule; creating great workplaces for all great people to deliver great experiences. Previous pre-opening experience is essential.

Supporting the Saudi nationalization scheme, we are looking forward to connecting with Saudi nationals whom have a passion for leading the sales team in delivering consistently high service levels; ensuring our many return guests are warmly welcomed and looked after. Suitable candidates must be eligible to work in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
