Director of Safety, Security & Compliance

The Director of Safety, Security & Compliance is responsible for overseeing the safety, security, and quality of flyadeal’s infrastructure and operations. This includes ensuring compliance with national and international aviation regulations, leading the Safety Management System (SMS), managing audits and inspections, and coordinating with government bodies like GACA.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute SSC strategies aligned with company goals.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with GACA and international safety standards.
• Lead implementation and oversight of the SMS, safety audits, and risk management.
• Act as the liaison with authorities regarding safety and compliance matters.
• Oversee crisis preparedness plans and safety awareness programs.
• Monitor safety trends and implement corrective actions post-incident.
• Conduct internal investigations into violations and propose mitigation measures.
• Lead both internal and external audits, ensuring continuous safety and quality improvement.
• Promote safety culture and ensure adherence across all departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation, or relevant field.
• Aviation diploma (Airframe & Powerplant, Dispatch, or Pilot) preferred.
• Fluency in Arabic and English required.
• 12+ years of aviation experience, including 5 in safety and 2 in senior leadership.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance, crisis response, and safety systems.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
