Job Summary:
The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for the overall administration and operations of the Food and Beverage Division including the maximization of profits, enhancement of customer’s satisfaction through establishment of quality standards and maintenance of high staff morale.
As a Director of Food & Beverage, we rely on you to:
Ensures that each outlet is accounted for as individual profit centers.
Ensures that each outlet is managed by a manager/management team who is totally accountable for the outlet’s profitability.
Establishes and monitors implementation of incentive schemes for Outlet Heads and/or Service Staff.
Regularly review guest feedback on quality of food and beverage (through guest comments, performance monitor, etc.)
Walks through all F&B areas daily.
Notes and immediately rectifies operational flaws.
Actively solicits guest feedback on F&B service and facilities.
Together with the rest of the F&B team, develops an action plan to address weaknesses.
Ensures that all F&B facilities and services yield maximum profitability for the Resort, as well as maximum value for money for the guest.
Highlights achievements, problems, challenges.
Models the practice and encourages staff to use the guiding principles in day-to-day interactions.
Practices and role-models the Guiding Principles and the Core Values of Shangri-La Hospitality
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years as Director of F&B in a luxury large scale property.
Solid F&B management experience in a large international class hotel.
A leader with the ability to coach, train and develop others.
Fluent in English.
Strong leadership, self-motivated excellent communication skills
