Foreground is supporting an international events and experiences agency in appointing a hands-on, execution-driven Director of Events & Production, to lead the delivery of high-profile live, hybrid, and digital events in Saudi Arabia. This role reports to the Country Director and will be the cornerstone of ensuring concept-to-delivery excellence across all activations, exhibitions, and experiential projects.
The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with leadership maturity, overseeing local production teams, managing vendor ecosystems, and ensuring all outputs meet safety, creative, and budgetary expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all event production and technical delivery across large-scale public events, VIP activations, exhibitions, and cultural programs.
- Manage project timelines, supplier selection, budgeting, and on-site execution with precision and consistency.
- Build a local ecosystem of trusted production vendors, fabricators, and technical crews.
- Lead the development of local production protocols, supplier onboarding, and quality assurance benchmarks.
- Serve as the point of accountability for client delivery from logistics and creative feasibility to real-time problem solving and crisis mitigation.
- Support the localization of global concepts and ensure technical feasibility within Saudi Arabias regulatory framework.
- 12+ years in events production and project management, with significant Saudi market experience.
- Demonstrated leadership of large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and global brand exposure.
- Deep knowledge of event permitting, security protocols, and venue regulations in the Kingdom.
- Exceptional vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic preferred.
