Job Purpose
Oversee the full spectrum of facility management operations across SOPC’s elite training centers and sport venues in Riyadh/Jeddah/Dammam, ensuring safe, reliable, and world-class environments for athletes, coaches, and stakeholders. The role directs preventive and corrective maintenance programs, supervises multi-site engineering teams, manages FM contracts, and drives operational readiness for all venues under SOPC’s mandate.

The role directs preventive and corrective maintenance programs, supervises multi-site engineering teams, manages FM contracts, and drives operational readiness for all venues under SOPC’s mandate.
Job Specific Accountabilities
Facility Operations & Maintenance
- Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of preventive and corrective maintenance programs, covering mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, sports flooring, and specialized sport-equipment systems, to ensure uninterrupted venue functionality.
- Oversee daily facility operations across multiple venues around the Kingdom, ensuring standards for cleanliness, safety, energy efficiency, and equipment readiness are met.
- Direct the execution of technical maintenance activities, validating work completion against specification and ensuring timely resolution of issues impacting operational readiness.
- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for facility operations across all sites, ensuring consistency of service delivery, clarity of roles, and adherence to maintenance protocols.
- Monitor facility condition assessments and develop long-term asset management plans that enhance reliability, extend equipment lifecycle, and support operational planning.
- Oversee vendor performance reports, validate invoices and work orders, and coordinate corrective actions for service gaps or non-compliance.
- Coordinate tendering, evaluation, onboarding, and renewal processes for service providers, ensuring operational continuity and cost-effective delivery.
- Establish structured vendor-review cycles and performance dashboards to enhance accountability and visibility on contract outcomes.
- Ensure full compliance with national safety codes, environmental regulations, and SOPC operational policies across all venues.
- Drive the implementation of safety management systems, emergency preparedness protocols, and incident reporting frameworks to protect athletes, staff, and visitors.
- Oversee access control operations, surveillance infrastructure, and security procedures to maintain controlled and safe venue environments.
- Coordinate periodic HSE audits and inspections across all facilities, ensuring timely implementation of corrective measures and continual improvement of safety practices.
- Prepare operational readiness plans for new venues transitioning from development projects, ensuring FM requirements are incorporated from commissioning to handover.
- Provide periodic operational reports, dashboards, and budget updates to the Senior Director, highlighting performance trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Serve as the primary FM liaison for internal stakeholders, NFs, SOTC, and the Ministry of Sport, ensuring alignment on facility usage, readiness, and maintenance priorities.
