Qiddiya Investment Company is on the lookout for a highly skilled Director of Event Operations to lead our dynamic team in delivering exceptional event experiences within our transformative entertainment district. This strategic role is essential for the operational planning, execution, and oversight of various events, ensuring they align with our mission and vision for creating memorable engagements.

As the Director of Event Operations, you will oversee all logistical aspects of our events, managing resources, teams, and timelines efficiently, while maintaining our high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all operational aspects of events, including logistics, resource allocation, and on-site execution, ensuring seamless operations
  • Develop detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, and task assignments, to ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Coordinate closely with internal departments, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive approach to event planning and execution
  • Implement best practices in event operations and continuously look for opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our processes
  • Supervise the event operations team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure high-performance standards
  • Oversee site selection, venue negotiation, and contract management for all events, aligning with our organizational requirements and goals
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all aspects of event planning and execution
  • Gather feedback and conduct post-event evaluations to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and inform future event strategies
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in event operations to enhance the overall experience for our guests and stakeholders


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in event operations management, with a strong track record of executing large-scale events in the entertainment or hospitality industry
  • Proven leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams
  • Strong operational and logistical skills, with a keen understanding of event production processes
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to adapt to changing circumstances and think on your feet
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and relationship building
  • Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control
  • Proficiency in event management software and relevant technologies
  • A passion for creating extraordinary experiences and a commitment to delivering excellence in event operations
