Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director - Commercial MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) for the prestigious MBS Stadium project. This role is critical to ensuring that all commercial aspects related to MEP systems are strategically managed to support the successful delivery of this landmark venue.

In this position, you will oversee the commercial management of the MEP components within the stadium's development. Your responsibilities will include formulating and implementing strategies to optimize costs, manage negotiations with contractors and suppliers, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

You will work closely with engineering, project management, and other relevant teams to ensure effective collaboration and alignment towards common objectives. Your expertise will be paramount in navigating complex contractual frameworks and ensuring that project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial strategy and management of MEP systems for the MBS Stadium project
  • Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal terms and delivery
  • Ensure that commercial practices align with company policies and industry standards
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop budget forecasts and monitor financial performance
  • Analyze and mitigate project risks associated with MEP systems
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management regarding commercial progress and performance
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the commercial and MEP teams

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in commercial management, specifically related to MEP systems in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of MEP engineering principles and their application in project delivery
  • Proven experience in contract negotiations and supplier management
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant field; a Master's degree is a plus
