Director - Artificial Intelligence

We are seeking a visionary Director of Artificial Intelligence to lead the development and implementation of an ambitious AI strategy for one of the most innovative large-scale immersive projects in the region. Role Overview

As Director of Artificial Intelligence, you will define and execute the AI strategy across immersive platforms, installations, and engagement layers. You will work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology, creativity, and large-scale delivery, partnering with internal teams and global leaders in AI, immersive technologies, and content development.

This role requires a forward-thinking, hands-on leader who can bridge strategy and execution - ensuring AI initiatives are aligned with business goals while pushing the boundaries of possibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a comprehensive AI strategy to enable immersive, interactive, and personalized experiences.
• Identify and prioritize AI-driven use cases across content generation, real-time interactivity, spatial computing, and audience personalization.
• Oversee AI infrastructure deployment, covering generative media, real-time rendering, NLP, and computer vision.
• Collaborate with creative, technical, and production teams to integrate AI solutions that enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
• Build and manage partnerships with AI vendors, research institutions, content studios, and regulators.
• Ensure compliance with ethical AI principles, data privacy laws, and cultural sensitivities.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and drive adoption of new innovations across the project.

Background & Experience

• 7+ years of leadership experience in AI, with proven success in delivering solutions for creative, immersive, or experience-driven environments.
• Strong expertise in AI infrastructure, model lifecycle management, and deployment across cloud/edge environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams spanning R&D, creative, and technical domains.
• Experience collaborating with creative studios, technology vendors, and research institutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Familiarity with compliance standards around ethical AI, data privacy, and content safety.

Preferred Experience Includes:

• Hands-on work in immersive or interactive settings such as theme parks, large-scale exhibitions, or gaming/XR platforms.
• Knowledge of real-time engines (Unreal, Unity) and integration of AI for live systems or dynamic environments.
• Experience with sensory systems (vision, audio, biometrics) to enhance AI responsiveness.
• Background in establishing or managing AI R&D/prototyping labs.
