What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be
- Work on physical execution of Digital transformation initiatives. This would include working with Site’s production/Engineering Stake holders to execute hardware/software changes on site to serve the site’s digital transformation agenda. Some examples of executional tasks could be:
- Develop software applications to communicate with hardware on the site.
- Integrate pre-existing software modules together and/or with newly developed components.
- Preform upgrades on pre-existing software applications.
- Troubleshoot hardware/connectivity problems.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting of various software systems.
- Act as a point of contact to offer basic troubleshooting for hardware/software affiliated with site’s Digital infrastructure.
- Be responsible to coordinate with internal factory stakeholders within the design and implementation phase of digital transformation projects.
- You are likely to be a good fit in this role if you love to get on to execution with hardware/software tools in own hands.
Experiences & Qualifications
Diploma or above in Computer Science/Mechatronics or a similar field with 0-2 years of experience in the Software Development/Manufacturing/Automation field.
Skills
- Ability to Communicate/read/write in English language.
- Demonstrated expertise in writing software program in any programming language (e.g. .NET/C# or Python) is a must.
- Basic understanding of computer networks/IP Addressing/General Network hardware.
- Basic understanding of Electrical wiring/cabling.
- The ideal candidate should have developed fairly complex software components using any programming language.
- The candidate is preferred to have experience in reading/writing/debugging object-oriented programming languages.
- Proficiency to self-learn from resources over the internet.
- You are energized by delivering fantastic results. You are an example to others – both your results and your resilience. You are constantly on the lookout for better ways to do things, engaging and collaborating with others along the way.
- As an individual you are the one responsible for your own wellbeing and delivering high standards of work. You must also focus on the Consumer and what they need. You are humble and have your head up, looking around to interpret evidence and data smartly, spot issues and opportunities to make things better.
