Job Description
The Design Manager is responsible for leading the entire design department, ensuring clear task delegation, creative direction, and on-time delivery of high-quality design outputs. This role requires both creative leadership and hands-on design skills. The manager must be proficient in design tools to support the team technically when needed, and be able to contribute directly to project work. Strong communication, organization, and leadership are essential to motivate the team and meet creative goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design department and guide the team to develop strong creative concepts.
Clearly distribute tasks based on team member strengths and project needs.
Monitor daily progress to ensure timelines and deadlines are met.
Contribute directly to design work when needed.
Provide technical support and mentorship on design tools and techniques.
Collaborate in concept creation and idea development.
Coordinate with other departments to align creative output with project goals.
Attend and contribute to client meetings when required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design field with proven leadership experience.
High proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, and/or 3D software like Blender, 3ds Max, etc.
Strong time management and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
A creative, hands-on leader able to work under pressure.
Familiarity with presentation methods and client-facing communication.
