Job Description
Contribute in Developing and Implementing strategies designed to maximize the ROI in UAE through increase sales and profit margin. Plan, develop, and manage, UAE commercial performance and annual financial (sales, profit and inventory) with, implementing and monitoring plans to achieve financial targets, inventory optimization and KPIs in the most efficient and effective way. Ensure accurate long and medium terms UAE commercial/operational financial plans, with complete ongoing end to end business review meetings and reporting in order to optimize performance and overall enable the other functions of the business to constantly meet sales, inventory and profit targets
Accountabilities
UAE Financial Targets:
Lead the monitoring process of UAE commercial division performance through developing and updating full set of dashboards to ensure delivering corporate financial targets (sales, profit, and inventory targets).
Plan, manage, monitor, and report UAE commercial budgets and spending lines to make sure financial plans and targets are achieved by building financial models and giving Leadership Team visibility on spending progress Vs approved budgets.
Explore Gross Margin GM% enhancement opportunities using scientific and mathematical approaches, align and validate with Merchandise category managers in the profit plans.
Mitigate risks related to profit loss due changes in the marketplace, external and governmental changes and give the business alternatives to compensate.
Maintain and update UAE plans (sales, profit, inventory) by constantly monitoring sales performance, market trends and other relevant economic factors (e.g. challenges in the region etc.) to ensure all financial targets are being achieved
UAE Commercial Strategy:
Leads the UAE S&OP monthly cycles (Demand and supply review meetings for all divisions, Pre S&OP and S&OP meeting) in order to provide top management with management tools to review and manage the sales and operation activities
Develop UAE Assortment Plans based on stores’ clusters to ensure the alignment with sales, inventory, margin plan and commercial strategy and ensure customers satisfaction.
Leads the forecasting process with UAE S&OP planners, at multiple levels (company down to category levels) using appropriate forecasting systems, and validating the results with main stakeholders (category level), reviewing historical sales trends, researching sales and operational drivers, analyzing data, developing statistical forecast models, providing final forecasts and evaluating results in order to drive Nahdi financial plans.
Develop & Validate forecasts for specific items (UAE Nahdi Private Brands) by gathering information and validating with category managers and other stakeholders, analyzing and providing forecast plans in order to enable and support the Overseas Purchase Orders generation process
Develop UAE Net sales Plans & actuals for ETM net sales dashboard in order to enable fact base decision making.
Develop and communicate weighted daily targets at category level considering all internal and external factors in order to ensure accurate sales targets are in place
Manage and monitor the development and execution of annual sales, inventory and profit plans using historical data, category strategy information, forecast plans in order to set up targets for other functions within the company (e.g. buying team, category team, store operations teams, replenishment team) and drive profitability
Lead and participate in the development of the Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and the automation of the Commercial Scorecards, Dashboards, and reports through the collaboration with the concerned departments as the IT division to ensure the standardization, efficiency, timely and accuracy.
Optimize commercial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by balancing sales, inventory and profit through impact analysis and quantification to ensure all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved
Employee’s duties are not limited only to the above-mentioned Accountabilities; he/she may perform other duties as assigned.

Days off : 2 Days Off
Working Hours : 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1 hour break)
