We are looking for The Delivery Operations Manager – Major Projects (DOM MP) is responsible for leading the safe, high-quality, and profitable execution of large and complex elevator and escalator projects. The role ensures on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and business performance, while driving operational excellence, risk control, and team competence within the major projects segment

What will you do?

  • Ensure Safety and Quality are fully embedded across all major project operations.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of large-scale and technically complex projects, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and scope.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing operations team of Project Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors.
  • Oversee installation capacity, subcontractor performance, and resource optimization to meet project milestones.
  • Drive proactive financial control by monitoring CM2, cost-to-complete, and project profitability; take early corrective actions when needed.
  • Conduct regular site visits and performance reviews to ensure compliance with KONE installation standards and Lean principles.
  • Coordinate closely with Sales, Engineering, Sourcing, and Service to ensure seamless project execution and handover.
  • Manage client relationships, contractual obligations, and escalations, ensuring professional communication and issue resolution.
  • Promote continuous improvement, standardization of best practices, and productivity enhancement across all major projects.
  • Support business planning, forecasting, and portfolio performance reporting to management.

Are you the one?

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in project management or operations within the elevator and escalator industry, including at least 5 years handling major or complex projects.
  • Proven track record in managing large teams, budgets, and subcontractors on high-value construction projects.
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost management capability.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean / Continuous Improvement principles is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic preferred.
