Data Scientist - Machine Learning Engineer - GCP Focus

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models, particularly in the areas of language model architectures and time series predictions. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of deploying machine learning solutions on GCP, adhering to MLOps best practices, and pushing code to production.

Responsibilities:

• GCP Deployment: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models on GCP, leveraging services such as Vertex AI and BigQuery.
• MLOps Implementation: Implement and maintain MLOps workflows, including version control (Git/GitHub), CI/CD pipelines, and automated model deployment.
• Production Code Development: Write and deploy production-ready code, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Language Model Development: Design and implement language model architectures and develop prediction models (e.g., time series).
• Feature Engineering: Perform advanced feature engineering to optimize model performance.
• Data Management: Utilize BigQuery for data warehousing and analysis.
• Model Evaluation and Refinement: Continuously evaluate and refine models, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, models, and deployment processes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist specializing in AI/ML.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Required: Google Cloud Machine Learning Engineer certification (candidates with this certification will be prioritized for immediate interviews).
• Proven experience deploying machine learning models on GCP.
• Strong proficiency in Git/GitHub and demonstrated experience with MLOps practices, particularly with Jupyter notebooks.
• Proven track record of pushing code to production environments.
• Extensive experience working with language model architectures and prediction models (time series, etc.).
• Expertise in Vertex AI, BigQuery, feature engineering, and Keras.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical concepts.
