Job Title: Data Analyst Intern (Cooperative Training)

Location: Jeddah

Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities

Data Collection & Preparation

• Assist in collecting data from multiple sources (Excel/CSV, databases, internal systems).
• Clean, validate, and transform data to ensure accuracy and consistency (remove duplicates, handle missing values, standardize formats).

Data Analysis & Insights

• Support the team in analyzing datasets to identify trends, patterns, and operational gaps.
• Perform exploratory analysis and basic statistical checks to support decision-making.

Dashboarding & Reporting

• Build and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI / Excel) to track KPIs and performance indicators.
• Contribute to generating periodic reports and presenting findings in a clear, actionable format.

Data Quality & Governance Support

• Help document data definitions, KPI logic, and reporting methodologies.
• Support in applying data quality rules and ensuring data aligns with internal standards and business requirements.

Automation & Process Improvement

• Assist in automating repetitive reporting tasks using tools like Excel (Power Query), SQL queries, or Python scripts (if applicable).
• Support process improvement initiatives by measuring performance before/after changes.

Stakeholder Support

• Work with business teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into analytics outputs.
• Assist in responding to ad-hoc analysis requests and clarifying data-related questions.

Qualifications

• Currently a student in Data Analytics, Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Excel and at least one of: Power BI, SQL, or Python.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
