Within our EMEA/ APAC-wide Internship Program CareerStart@SASwe’re offering a 6-month full-time internship in our Customer Advisory Department as a Customer Advisory intern in our Riyadh office.

About the Job

The Customer Advisory team bridges the gap between real-world needs and technology, showcasing how the SAS analytical platform can drive better outcomes. We inspire customers by demonstrating what’s possible, understand their goals, and select the right mix of technologies to achieve them. Often, we build prototypes, proofs of concept, or lab demos to highlight value.

As an intern, you might:

• Build demo environments for customer use cases across various analytical competencies.
• Provide pre-sales technical support to customers.
• Work with sales staff to outline appropriate solutions and leverage sales opportunities.
• Develop proposals and conducts demonstrations and presentations to customers and prospects.
• Provide reliable delivery of targeted project results through role as expert in the application of specific SAS methodologies, projects and technologies.
• Collaborate with international teams to exchange and gather crucial information.
• Participate in deal strategy discussions with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications 

• You’re a college student enrolled in an accredited program.  
• Target majors include: all STEM faculties, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or equivalent. 
• You have experience in working with SQL.
• You've got curiosity in working with data and AI models.
• You’re curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do. 
• Strong communication skills - both written and verbal. 
• You’re interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology.

Preferred Qualifications 

Basic knowledge of Python, or SAS is preferred.   

CareerStart program date and location: Tentatively April 1 - September 30 (Dates can change slightly due to academic calendars.). Our role is based in SAS Riyadh offices in an on site work setting.
