Job Description

As a Sales professional, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the sales of CUBIC's innovative products and solutions to prospective and existing named accounts in the EMEA META region (Middle East and Africa). Your mission is to maintain long-term business relationships and to create profitable sustainable business growth, including the pull-through of all Rockwell Automation's businesses.

You will be reporting to the EMEA CUBIC Sales Director.

Your Responsibilities

  • Achieve Rockwell Automation sales targets for CUBIC products & solutions and meet business revenue plans using a discipline sales process within targeted accounts.
  • You will be directly responsible for meeting quota by negotiating and bringing opportunities to closure while working with the broader matrixed Rockwell Automation sales teams.
  • You will develop an accurate sales forecast and pipeline of CUBIC pursuits.
  • You will contribute to customer proposals and requests for information.
  • You will use Global Sales & Marketing selling resources for target opportunity identification and access.
  • You will be the primary liaison between customers, regional sales team members and your department to ensure efficient communications and information flow from sales and pipeline development activities.
  • You will translate technical terms into everyday language and manage expectations, both internally and externally.
  • You will provide formal regular status reports to sales management which include forecast, pipeline and activity summary information.
  • You will monitor & report revenue and pipeline results weekly in CRM for assigned Markets or Geographies to ensure performance goals are met.
  • You will develop business & financial knowledge of offering and its impact on potential business.
  • You will build and promote long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with our customer and through the understanding of needs.
  • You will explore new opportunities into market (Data Centers, Water, Energy, and Industry).

The Essentials - You Will Have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years sales, direct sales, or consulting experience.
  • Familiar in similar positions in commercial management (coming from the same sector is very appreciated).
  • Strong command of English (written & spoken).
  • Ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Stakeholders management skills.
  • Ability to set, and be accountable for challenging targets.
  • Ability to influence, empower, coach, and motivate others.
  • Strong negotiation, leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong business track record.
  • Experience dealing with clients also at the highest level.
  • Experience in developing and executing successful business strategies.
  • Driving license.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have

  • Experience in Low Voltage Switchboards.
  • Education in electrical or electronic engineering, computer science, manufacturing information technology or related discipline.
