Credit Control Accountant

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for collecting invoices and ensuring that the credit given to customers is monitored. You will be responsible for processing and generating reminder letters and monthly statements, daily and month-end reporting and account reconciliations, and resolving non-paid invoices.

In this role, you will:

● Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers;

● Generate and send invoices to customers;

● Monitor and track pending invoices;

● Address and resolve payment discrepancies, disputes, and billing issues;

● Collect debt and collaborate with debt collection agencies when required;

● Maintain accurate records of customers' payment history and debt recovery efforts;

● Build and maintain solid relationships with debtors while enforcing payment obligations;

● Work with the FP&A team to answer any questions they have during their business reviews;

● Work closely with the business to understand and challenge the current rationale for any revenue-related estimates;

● Support all internal and external audits as they occur

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or another related field;

● ACA, ACCA, and CPA qualification (beneficial)

Experience

● Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a similar industry and role

Knowledge

● Excellent Knowledge of Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority rules;

● Excellent Knowledge of accounting software applications;

● Financial analysis, reporting and commercial awareness;

● Advanced MS Excel skills.
