Job Title: Corrosion and Materials Engineer

Location: KSA, Al Khobar city

Project: SNSH

Duration: 12 months renewable

Working rotation: 120/16, 4x9.5 (Sun-Thurs) + 1x10 Monday

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct corrosion risk assessments & studies, identifying corrosion issues and providing recommendations to mitigate them.
• Carry out project deliverables such as material selection diagrams, material selection report, corrosion control document as per Aramco requirements.
• Review design packages and validate materials selection based on applicable codes and standards.
• Support conduction of risk-based inspection studies (RBIs) based on API-580 methodology.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering. An advanced degree is preferable.
• At least 5 of experience in corrosion assessment and material selection
• Able to demonstrate knowledge of the various international standards and codes including NACE, ASME, API and ASTM with emphasis on corrosion and inspection codes such as API-571 and API-580.
• NACE Senior Corrosion Technologist certification or combination of NACE Corrosion Technologist and API-571 is preferable.
• Able to demonstrate fluency in English, oral and written.
