Position Summary:
To Accelerate and Embed sustainability, create a positive impact on consumer , society and the planet , lead the industry in transforming the food system.
Enhance and strengthen Nestlé’s corporate reputation with external and internal stakeholders; build trust by promoting Nestlé Purpose and Values to foster external engagment and partnerships, should bring life to Brands with Purpose
A day in the life..
Develop and maintain proactive engagement with Key Opinion Leaders and stakeholders to strengthen the company’s reputation, and maintain database.
Support in developing and maintaining long term sustainable partnerships with key authorities, NGOs, academia and the industry as relevant.
Execute the governance & road map for the plastic commitment with projects in place for the Cluster. Drive implementation of MENA Sustainability projects (EPR, Category Packaging Roadmaps, AWS certification, etc.), in alignment with the Market.
Roll out a sustainable packaging initiatives and education program for over 15000+ employees, to accelerate behavior change and help the company meet its packaging objectives
Develop narrative and communicate Purpose & values initiatives and Brands with purpose initiatives to deliver on Nestle commitments to society
Guide the initiation, narrative and communication of Brand CSV projects and ensure the alignment with the Corporate CSV Strategy and Brand with Purpose
Develop & execute the governance & road map for the plastic commitment with projects in place for all 19 operating countries. Drive implementation of MENA Sustainability projects (EPR, Category Packaging Roadmaps, AWS certification, etc.), in alignment with Zone, Categories and Countries.
Work with Nestle Waters team to implement the narrative for Plastic commitment & Caring for Waters roadmap
Are you a FIT?
University degree
Proficiency and expertise in the following areas:
- Water Regeneration
- Renewable Energy
- Recycling
- Waste Management
- Exemplary communication skills (Arabic & English), enabling effective engagement with stakeholders such as the Ministry of Energy, Water, and Environment (MEWA), Ministry of Industry & Minerals (MIM), (MAEE) and other relevant governmental entities. This role necessitates substantial interaction with stakeholders.
- A self-taught and self-motivated individual, eager to expand their knowledge and expertise.
- A proactive disposition, characterized by the ability to initiate action and drive progress
- A friendly and amiable personality, fostering positive interactions with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Experience of stakeholder engagement and partnership desirable
- Experience of managing community projects
- Experience in environmental sustainability projects
- Good understanding of national regulations, policies, and direction
- Deep understanding of influence networks and channel strategies
- Project Management qualifications desirable
