YOUR IMPACT
As a Legal Entity Controller, you will take complete ownership of the financial and regulatory reporting and monitoring for a range of our legal entities. You will develop an in-depth understanding of these entities, including their business strategies, products and associated technical accounting and disclosure requirements.
We’re looking for an experienced and driven professional to join our Controllers team in Riyadh, who is keen to use and develop their technical accounting skills to provide high quality reporting and analysis of our entities’ assets, capital adequacy and risk profile in a challenging and varied environment.

We’re looking for an experienced and driven professional to join our Controllers team in Riyadh, who is keen to use and develop their technical accounting skills to provide high quality reporting and analysis of our entities’ assets, capital adequacy and risk profile in a challenging and varied environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES Include, Inter Alia
- Monthly Capital Adequacy Module (CAM) report to the CMA prudential department
- Monthly financials to the CMA prudential department
- Annual Pillar 3 report to the CMA
- Annual Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Procedure (ICAAP) report to the CMA prudential department
- Quarterly Investment funds report to CMA
- Annual Business Disclosure Report to CMA
- Responding to CMA questions re our financials and business results.
- Updating public website required by the CMA
- Monitoring of daily and monthly brokerage and position reports to the Tadawul (Stock Exchange) and CMA
- Annual Financial Statements in Saudi GAAP (IFRS)
- Managing annual external audit of financials by PWC
- Submission of Arabic language Audited Annual Financials to CMA, Ministry of Commerce and Investment (MOCI) and Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA)
- Posting Arabic financials to the public website
- Maintaining monthly trail balance and journals per General Ledger account in Arabic
- Implementation of IFRS reporting
- Accounting policy and monitoring and control of daily brokerage, trading accounting and underwriting accounting input
- Regular analysis of journals, trial balance and expense GL accounts, monitoring of transfer pricing
- Monthly analysis of BS and PL according to US GAAP
- GSSA commission and revenue monitoring and analysis
- Daily monitoring of Securities MTM and accounting for trading and hedge positions.
- Preparation of monthly withholding tax returns
- Co-ordinating the monthly withholding tax return submission to tax authorities (DZIT)in Arabic
- Co-ordinating the annual tax return, tax audit of annual externally audited financials and submission to DZIT in Arabic of annual tax return
- Responding to DZIT audits of past tax returns and preparing and providing documentation and analysis
- Implementation of VAT and preparation of monthly returns.
- Implementation of OECD Common Reporting Standards requirements and associated reporting to DZIT
- Other miscellaneous tax reports
- Quarterly financial reporting to the Board of Directors (BOD), incl. financial, regulatory and risk position of the entities
- Presentation of quarterly financials to the Business Review Group (BRG)of GSSA
- MENA region monthly franchise revenue analysis by country, product and client
- Quarterly MENA revenue and expense presentation
- Daily funding monitoring
- Payments of Withholding taxes, Income taxes and locally required payments through Riyadh bank accounts.
- The successful candidate must have passed the CMA examinations CME 1 Parts 1 and 2.
- Accounting qualification and accounting background preferably in a CMA Authorised Person (AP) (CMA licenced entity) in Saudi Arabia with a brokerage licence/ or working for a big four accounting firm with AP auditing experience.
- Arabic and English language are necessary
- Candidate must be highly motivated, with commercial focus and strong analytical and communication skills.
- Must enjoy being challenged, be team orientated and have good attention to detail
- Should have integrity, professional scepticism, a strong work ethic and a desire for excellence.
- Good interpersonal skills as complement to technical aptitude
- A desire to learn and interest in financial markets and products
- A track record of improving processes and adding value to clients/stakeholders.
