Contract Specialist
Job Objective
Responsible for preparing, reviewing and supervising
government contracts in accordance with the Government Tenders and Procurement
System, in addition to dealing with the “Etimad” platform to ensure compliance
with the applicable regulatory procedures and regulations.
Primary Roles and
Responsibilities
Contract preparation:
Drafting and reviewing contracts to ensure their compliance
with government regulations and regulations for government tenders and
procurement.
Dealing with the “Etimad” platform:
Managing contracts and related documents through the
“Etimad” platform, and ensuring the implementation of all necessary procedures
from submitting contracts until final approval.
Reviewing contractual terms:
Reviewing and auditing contractual terms to ensure their
compliance with regulatory requirements and supervising compliance with the
terms by the contracting parties.
Coordination with relevant departments:
Work closely with the purchasing, legal, and financial
departments to ensure that contracts comply with internal requirements and
government regulations.
Negotiating with suppliers and contractors:
Managing negotiations with suppliers and contractors to
ensure obtaining the best contractual terms and compliance with all terms and
conditions.
Managing and following up on contracts:
Following up on the progress of contract implementation and
ensuring that contracting parties adhere to the agreed timetables and
requirements.
Reports:
Preparing periodic reports related to contracts and
submitting them to management for review and taking the necessary decisions.
Compliance with government regulations and regulations:
Ensuring that all contracts and contractual processes are in
line with the government tenders and procurement system and its executive
regulations.
Knowledge and Experience:
Comprehensive knowledge of the government tenders and
procurement system.
Comprehensive knowledge of using the "Etimad"
platform to implement government contracts.
A deep understanding of contractual terms and legal
obligations associated with contracts.
Skills:
Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and contractors.
Ability to analyze contracts and legal documents and ensure
their compliance with regulations.
High organisational skills and effective time management.
Ability to work in an environment that relies on government
procedures and regulations with multiple tasks that require coordination
between different departments.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, or any
related major.
