Contract Administrator

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contract Administrator to join our team! In this role you will perform contract administration assignments for projects with constructed values typically in the $20 to $50 million range, predominantly with domestic clients.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Part of a team delivering a large program of construction projects

• Managing at the program level

• Provide support on all commercial issues within the projects.

• Interact with Commercial Team and client and address all inquiries related to commercial.

• Assist with payment of contractors and consultants.

• Assist with internal cost comparisons and cost projections.

• Maintain payment logs, variation logs and claims logs.

• Contribute to review of variation submissions.

• Review change logs submitted by Cost Consultant

• Contribute to project cash flow updates.

• Contribute to drafts of contractual letters.

• Contribute to evaluation of prolongation costs and other cost claims.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field and 10 years demonstrable experience in commercial roles.

• Competent in contract administration across different types of contracts

• Flexibility

• Site working experience

• Knowledge of a wide range of contract conditions.

• Knowledge of traditional and design and build contracts.

• Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
