WSP Earth and Environment team is seeking an experienced Consultant with experience in Environment Impact Assessment and Due Diligence services to join our growing Earth and Environment Team.

WSP Earth and Environment team is seeking an experienced Consultant with experience in Environment Impact Assessment and Due Diligence services to join our growing Earth and Environment Team.
Your new role, what's involved?
The requirements of the Consultant include, but are not limited to, the consistent delivery of the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Project management and preparation of large-scale environmental projects including (EIA, SEA, CEMP, environmental emergency response strategies, pollution prevention frameworks) for major projects across the region with a particular focus on KSA projects.
- Provision of reliable, effective and efficient delivery of environmental consultancy services.
- To work in an integrated manner with supervision where appropriate and to understand the task at hand; what is required, when it is required etc. and to deliver tasks in a cost effective and timely manner.
- To proactively identify the tasks required within a project and confirm their requirements with project managers.
- Have an understanding of the commercial aspects of project delivery.
- Engagement with Clients and other stakeholders and providing support and guidance on critical E&S aspects.
- An excellent understanding of the EIA processes environmental assessment methods and applicable planning legislation.
- Working collaboratively with design and planning teams to ensure environmental considerations.
- A detailed understanding of relevant environmental consenting and licensing requirements.
- Prepare and manage multi-disciplinary tenders.
- Contributes to proposal preparation.
- Assistance with daily project management tasks.
- Travel within the region, including travel to KSA for short periods of time.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- BSc and MSc degree qualified in a relevant environmental or engineering discipline.
- 3-6 years relevant experience.
- Membership of a relevant professional body (i.e. IEMA or equivalent) and preferably chartered status.
- Ability to work across multiple disciplines and a flexible mindset to working.
- Experience in providing technical alternatives and solutions to technical clarifications and design solutions to the clients.
- Significant proofing, editing and report collation experience.
- Excellent written English and verbal communication, presentation and organisational skills.
- Experience of working on multiple projects, simultaneously.
- Robust project management, time management and financial management skills.
- Collaborative mindset and outcome driven working method.
