Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction Manager - Roads & Infrastructure to join our team! In this role you will get to lead the execution of critical civil works within the airport program, ensuring high standards of delivery, safety, and coordination across interfaces.

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and has a strong foundation in delivering road and utility infrastructure in compliance with international standards.

What You'll Be Doing;

• Lead and manage the construction activities for road networks, utility corridors, stormwater drainage, and associated civil infrastructure.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with planning and scheduling teams to align construction activities with project milestones.
• Develop look-ahead schedules and monitor daily/weekly progress, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
• Oversee multiple contractors and subcontractors on-site, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and quality expectations.
• Resolve technical issues, interface challenges, and construction conflicts in coordination with design and technical teams.
• Coordinate with other project packages including airside, terminal, utilities, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of works.
• Monitor interfaces with utility agencies and third parties, managing permits and access arrangements.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and enforce HSE procedures across all construction activities.
• Monitor quality control measures and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, including metrics on productivity, safety, and risk.
• Track project KPIs, escalate issues proactively, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and project management teams to ensure alignment on scope, expectations, and delivery.
• Support review meetings, site walkthroughs, and technical audits as needed.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring;

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 15 years of relevant experience in heavy civil construction, including at least 5 years in a managerial role on major infrastructure or airport projects.
• Proven track record in the successful delivery of road and utility infrastructure packages.
• In-depth knowledge of roadworks, stormwater management, underground utilities, and earthworks.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent understanding of construction safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Proficient in scheduling and reporting tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.
• Familiarity with contract management principles and construction methodologies.
• Experience in airport infrastructure projects or mega-infrastructure developments in the GCC region.
• Familiarity with local authority permitting processes and utility coordination.
• Working knowledge of BIM coordination and digital construction tools.
• Hands-on experience with Aconex or similar construction management platforms.
