Job Description
Parsons is looking for a seasoned Construction Manager - Airport with extensive experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects to join our team!
Preference within airport or airfield environments.
The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 15 years of proven expertise overseeing multidisciplinary civil and MEP infrastructure works, ensuring timely, safe, and quality delivery. This leadership role requires strong coordination skills across various contractors, stakeholders, and authorities, contributing to the successful completion of the King Salman International Airport (KSIA) development.

Job Description
Parsons is looking for a seasoned Construction Manager - Airport with extensive experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects to join our team!
Preference within airport or airfield environments.
The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 15 years of proven expertise overseeing multidisciplinary civil and MEP infrastructure works, ensuring timely, safe, and quality delivery. This leadership role requires strong coordination skills across various contractors, stakeholders, and authorities, contributing to the successful completion of the King Salman International Airport (KSIA) development.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage the overall construction activities for wide infrastructure works, including roads, pavements, drainage, utilities, airfield pavements, and associated civil works.
- Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and resources to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Monitor project progress, analyze delays, and implement corrective actions to ensure delivery within time, cost, and quality targets.
- Supervise and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between design, construction, QA/QC, safety, and project management teams.
- Mentor junior staff and ensure clear delegation of responsibilities and accountabilities.
- Enforce strict adherence to HSE policies, risk assessments, and safety standards on-site.
- Oversee quality control activities and ensure construction works comply with project specifications, drawings, and relevant standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits, addressing non-conformances and implementing remedial actions promptly.
- Act as a key interface with client representatives, airport authorities, regulatory bodies, and third-party inspectors.
- Manage contractor performance, contractual obligations, and resolve disputes or claims efficiently.
- Provide regular progress reports, forecasts, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Plan and optimize labor, equipment, and material resources for efficient construction operations.
- Monitor construction budgets, control costs, and assist in value engineering and change management processes.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of construction materials and services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience managing large infrastructure projects, preferably airports, airfields, or similar complex environments.
- Proven track record in delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies, materials, and equipment.
- Familiarity with airport infrastructure components such as taxiways, aprons, drainage, and utilities.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in project management software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
- Strong contract management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working on Middle East airport projects or large-scale infrastructure developments.
- Knowledge of airside safety regulations, ICAO standards, and airport operational procedures.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Familiarity with BIM processes and digital construction tools.
- Fluency in Arabic is advantageous.
