Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction Engineer -Civil (Saudi National) to join our team!

What You’ll Be Doing

Construction Support and Supervision:

• Assist in monitoring and supervising airfield construction works including runway/taxiway pavements, drainage, lighting, and associated civil works.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant aviation standards.
• Support the coordination of daily site activities with contractors and other engineering disciplines.
  
  
  

Technical And Field Engineering Duties

• Conduct routine inspections, site walks, and verify work progress against construction schedules.
• Assist in resolving minor technical issues on-site in coordination with senior engineers and design consultants.
• Participate in field measurements, material sampling, and quality control checks under the guidance of senior staff.
  
  
  

Documentation And Reporting

• Maintain up-to-date records of daily activities, construction logs, non-conformance reports, and field modifications.
• Prepare and submit site reports, photographic evidence, and inspection checklists.
• Support the review of method statements and inspection test plans (ITPs) specific to airfield infrastructure.
  
  
  

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Compliance

• Promote adherence to health and safety standards and participate in toolbox talks and HSE briefings.
• Report unsafe practices or conditions on-site and assist in implementing corrective measures.
• Follow environmental protection protocols related to airfield construction.
  
  
  

Education

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction engineering, preferably with exposure to airport or airfield infrastructure (e.g., runways, taxiways, aprons).
  
  
  

Skills & Knowledge

• Basic understanding of construction drawings, materials, and methods used in airfield works.
• Familiarity with ICAO/FAA standards is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office; exposure to AutoCAD or other engineering software is advantageous.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Internship or academic project experience in airport/aviation infrastructure.
• Knowledge of construction site safety procedures.
• Exposure to quality assurance/quality control practices.
• Multilingual abilities; fluency in English is required, Arabic is a plus.
