Consortiums & Alliances Director

Job Purpose

Jobs at this level are responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships and alliances that drive business diversification and value creation. The Director will lead efforts to identify external partners, negotiate agreements, and integrate new partnerships into the organizational ecosystem, ensuring that all partnerships align with strategic goals. This role requires maintaining strong relationships with key partners and continuously monitoring the performance and value of the partnership portfolio. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility

• Conduct comprehensive stakeholder analyses to identify key external partners, their interests, and potential synergies including stc’s subsidiaries partnerships
• Initiate and cultivate relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including industry associations, government entities, and private sector companies
• Proactively scan the landscape to uncover new partnership opportunities that align with business diversification in alignment with S&P
• Perform detailed assessments of prospective partnerships, evaluating factors such as strategic fit, risk profile, and potential value creation opportunities, in alignment with S&P
• Facilitate the negotiation and finalization of partnership agreements, ensuring clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics in alignment with S&P

• Coordinate the integration of new partners into subsidiaries/organizations ecosystem, providing support and guidance as needed
• Establish and maintain a centralized repository of the organization's partnerships, including their status, key milestones, and performance data, in addition to development and implementation of processes for regular monitoring, reporting, and optimization of the partnership portfolio
• Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for the organization's key partners.
• Organize and facilitate collaborative activities, such as joint planning sessions, knowledge-sharing workshops, and networking events.
• Develop internal expertise and organizational capabilities in areas critical for effective partnership management.
• Document and disseminate best practices, lessons learned, and innovative approaches
  
  

Years Of Experience

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a related discipline
  
  

Nature Of Experience

Prior experience in strategic partnerships and alliances in the telecommunications or technology industry.
