Join Arabian Rig Manufacturing’s Education Service team, as Competency Advisor to provide operational support for NOV’s Competency Management System. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work autonomously, be a self-starter and have an attitude of “getting things done”. If you do not have listed certifications, do not worry, a full on-job training will be provided with an access to globally recognised qualifications. This role will provide an opportunity for occasional travel (within Saudi Arabia and globally) as well as access to globally recognised qualifications.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the competency management system in ARM to successfully support all workforce development
- Work closely with leadership to ensure the complete visibility and understanding of KPIs and quality performance indicators
- Assist with identifying training and development needs, and record those within Tracker PDM
- Working with business lines to ensure full understanding and implementation of workplace assessment processes
- Collaborate with Internal Training and Competency Leads to share best practices and standardisation of the process
- Ensure Business Units monitoring/status reports on gaps are prepared, presented, and actioned.
- Taking the lead in projects and initiatives to create the content for workplace assessments and implement it within the facility
- Monitor and evaluate training program’s and CMS effectiveness, present findings during Management Review
- Line management and development of Competency Advisors
- Act as Internal Quality Assurer (IQA/Verifier)
- Participate in internal and external audits when required.
Function/ Purpose:
- Work closely with Management Teams to ensure complete visibility and understanding of programme KPI’s and quality performance measurements.
- Ensures records, practices, and processes of competency system stakeholders align with standards set by awarding bodies and NOV

Qualification, knowledge and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent
- Understanding of Competency and Competency Management System
- Professional work experience in the areas of presenting information, analyzing data and negotiating
- Working as part of the team and championing/collaborating on different projects.
- Advanced level in Microsoft Office Package (Outlook, Words, Excel, PowerPoint)
- D32/A1/L&D9DI Assessor (Is a Plus)
- D33/V1/L&D11 Verifier (Is a Plus)
