The Role
The Communication Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to promote the organization's goals and objectives. The role will involve developing and distributing various communication materials, both internally and externally, to ensure effective and consistent messaging. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of communication best practices. Responsibilities: - Develop and execute communication plans in collaboration with the communication team, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and objectives. - Create and distribute internal and external communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, website content, and social media posts. - Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide reports to the communication team. - Collaborate with various departments to gather information and create compelling communication materials. - Manage the organization's social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts, responding to comments, and monitoring engagement. - Maintain and update the organization's website with relevant and engaging content. - Support the organization's crisis communication efforts by drafting statements and coordinating with the communication team. - Monitor industry trends and provide recommendations for improving communication strategies and tactics. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and key stakeholders. - Ensure all communication materials adhere to the organization's branding and messaging guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Strong understanding of communication best practices, including media relations, social media, and crisis communication. - Proven ability to develop and execute communication plans and strategies. - Experience creating and distributing various communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, and social media posts. - Proficient in social media management tools and website content management systems. - Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Proactive and able to take initiative. - Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus. - Arabic language skills are a plus.
