  • Roles and Responsibilities
  • Site Commissioning Engineer for Execution of the EHV / HV / LV Protection, Control & Automation Sub-Station Project within the project time frame.
  • Supervision & Monitoring of Electrical Equipment’s Testing & Commissioning works.
  • Ensure equipment and systems are ready for pre-commissioning activities.
  • Monitor the technical requirements of the work, including quality control/assurance.
  • Review of all approved schematic drawings and Main Relays settings availability.
  • Ensure all Testing Engineers are authorized to perform the testing activities, Test Formats are available as per the process and all equipment’s have valid calibration certificates prior to start of the works.
  • Knowledge of advanced Main Relays Testing & Configuration of various manufacturers (GE / ABB / SIEMENS / SEL / SE ) etc.
  • Develop Testing & Commissioning procedures for each Equipment activity and the Quality Control Plans for each activity.
  • Check all safety regulations and standing instructions are rigorously observed. Identify high risk activities, related hazards and develop mitigation plan.
  • Conduct necessary training on site for all stakeholders as required.
  • Forecasting in advance of critical tasks / test requirements to avoid delays.
  • Progress reporting & monitoring on daily and weekly basis.
  • Co-ordination with client for day-to-day activities.
  • Co-ordination with different agencies and resources planning for each activity.
  • Implementation of all Quality and Safety procedures.
  • Implementation of all testing method statements and risk assessments.
  • Reporting of Non-Conformance related to failures of components and generating NCP.
  • Recommend field changes beneficial to plant operations or necessary for efficient commissioning.
  • Update Daily Testing NCR Comments Logbook from Customer.
  • Controls Test Equipment – Preservation / Calibration / Handling.
  • Generate Internal Punch Lists during testing phase.
  • Developing of red markup drawings modification schematic drawings as per site requirement for As Built Drawings.
  • Clearing of all punch list.
  • Manage turnover of completed project systems and facilities including preparation of all necessary documentation.
  • Reporting of ROE for the completed project for each activity.

Required Qualifications

  • Qualification:- Degree in Electrical Engineering & Registered in Saudi Council of Engineering .
  • Experience :- Minimum Five Years as Testing & Commissioning Engineer Working in EHV / HV Sub-Station Projects .
  • Mobility :- Must be willing to move within Saudi Arabia as per the Business Requirements.
