Commissioning Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures for energy and oil & gas projects.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure that all commissioning activities are integrated into the overall project plan and timeline.
• Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning tests on systems and equipment.
• Verify that all systems and components meet project specifications and operational requirements.
• Identify and resolve any issues or deficiencies during the commissioning process.
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports, test plans, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities, test results, and issues encountered.
• Provide regular updates and reports to project management and clients.
• Ensure all commissioning activities comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments related to commissioning activities.
• Promote a culture of safety and quality among the commissioning team and contractors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or a related field).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commissioning, preferably in the energy and oil & gas sectors.
• Strong understanding of commissioning processes, procedures, and standards.
• Proficiency in commissioning software and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
