- Commercial Leadership:
- Lead all commercial activities across project lifecycle—from bidding and contracts to project execution and close-out.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals and project needs.
- Budget and Cost Management:
- Monitor, control, and report on project budgets to ensure financial targets are achieved.
- Identify and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising project quality or timelines.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions when deviations occur.
- Procurement and Contracts:
- Oversee tendering, negotiation, and finalization of contracts and subcontracts.
- Review and approve key supplier contracts to ensure compliance and value for money.
- Risk and Compliance:
- Identify commercial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all commercial practices comply with legal and regulatory standards.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with internal teams (project management, procurement, finance) and external stakeholders (vendors, contractors, clients).
- Act as the commercial point of contact for all major projects.
- Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
- Develop dashboards and commercial performance reports for senior management.
- Track KPIs related to cost, efficiency, and contract performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of commercial experience, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in project cost control, budget management, and strategic procurement.
- Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial terms and conditions.
- Experience in [industry-specific knowledge, e.g., construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, etc.].
